From the first bite to the last, I savored every mouthful. The menu offered a diverse selection, catering to various tastes, and each dish was beautifully presented, a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The staff at Julep Kitchen & Bar truly elevated the dining experience. Their attention to detail and passion for excellent service shone through in every interaction. They were not just attentive but also knowledgeable about the menu, offering fantastic recommendations and ensuring that every aspect of my dining experience was top-notch. I can't recommend Julep Kitchen & Bar highly enough. It's a culinary haven where exceptional food, impeccable service, and a fantastic atmosphere converge to create an unforgettable dining experience.

A beautiful little restaurant with amazing food! As a Southern girl transplanted to the PNW, I often long for a good glass of sweet tea and some home cooking. This place delivers! The beef stew was amazing, the biscuits delicious, and the sweet tea was on point. We had the sweet potato fries for dessert, and those were wonderful too. The mixed drinks were also great and nice to see a wide variety. We'll be back (many times)!

We did a bit of research to find a meeting spot for an out of town meeting spot. We chose this place because it had dog friendly outdoor seating and a menu to handle dietary needs. Our waiter started off friendly and attentive, managing our many questions well. But then he had to let us know your beef delivery had not come in yet so we had to change 2 of our 4 dishes. A few other mishaps made it feel like we had to change something about all 4 dishes. Our waiter then "disappeared", he got to busy inside. Our appetizers were delivered and were delicious. Eventually our waiter came and cleared the appetizers and ignored me while I asked him 3 times for more water. As he was walking away with our appetizer plates he said I'll bring you your tab. ??? We went inside to ask about our meal. Our waiter did come out and apologize he had got busy and forgot to place the rest of our order. When our meal arrived it was also good. We were able to have dietary needs met. I gave 3 stars for food because we had to change our meal options due to lack of menu items being available. 3 stars for our service not being great. 4 stars for the atmosphere because we were able to visit with our dog with us, but the chairs were very uncomfortable.

EDIT: we came back the next day and tried the chicken! I can not recommend the Honey Bird enough! Chicken was moist with a perfect crunchy fried exterior. The bread felt a little lacking but wasn’t a deal breaker. Would highly recommend this if you’re in town. Oh, and the Bloody Mary was exactly what I needed after a night at the Gorge - plenty strong and the perfect amount of heat! In Ellensburg for the weekend and stopped in to kill time before checking in to our hotel. Great cocktails-the mint julep was especially delicious & strong! The loaded fries were so good and I wish we had been hungry enough for the chicken sandwiches - they look huge! Definitely keeping this place in mind for whenever I drive through town again.

Gem of a place. Large portions surprised us but the food was all in all delicious. We ordered fried cauliflower, hot bird sandwich, falafel, cauliflower sandwich (po-boi) and voodoo burger. Everything was tasty but the fried cauliflower was the most delicious. Good place to stop by if you're in the neighborhood. Friendly staff was a pro. Highly recommended
